Melbourne - 25 October. - 25 October. 2018:
Leading in a world of complexity: what’s your ‘wicked’ problem?

Wicked problems are those that trouble, perplex and resist our attempts to understand and solve them. The term was first coined by Rittel and Weber in 1973 and has since continued to resonate with leaders who struggle to understand and respond to the seemingly unsolvable. What are your wicked challenges relating to people and culture? What problem resists your persistent attempts to understand, to make sense of and ultimately solve?

Come and join us for breakfast and bring your wicked problems with you to a session of sensemaking and resolve. Our team of talented facilitators will lead you through a series of conversations to help you bring your problem into focus and find some new ways to tackle it.

Exploring leading through complexity with the Cynefin Framework (Snowden, 1999), we will then tap into the wealth of knowledge within the room to dive into and perhaps help you solve your, your organisation’s or your leader’s ‘wicked’ problems in a safe and supportive forum.

This business breakfast provides a chance to:

  • better understand and perhaps start to solve your wicked problems
  • walk away with something tangible, new ways to experiment with
  • understand more about leading in a complex context
  • tap into the vast and deep well of knowledge in the room
  • get to know some interesting others to stay in touch with
